Leadership:
Amy Tidd is a strong supporter of environmental issues, and ocean issues in particular. Unlike her opponent who has proposed new offshore drilling only 3 miles from the coast, Amy Tidd has fought against offshore drilling and would do everything in her power to keep it away from Florida’s coasts, as she demonstrated by cosponsoring this year’s "Hands across the Sand" rally against offshore drilling. She is also a supporter of renewable energy and believes that providing tax incentives for renewable energy technology is an important part of the future.
